While we enjoy our work, we also like to take time to enjoy our family and our country home, to learn new things and meet new people, and do what we can to make the world a better place. THE BIG ONE!! Sailing Trip – Back in 2000, we spent 14 months on a sailboat with our two children. We followed the Great Circle Route which took us from Chicago down to Mobile, around Florida, over to the Bahamas for a few months, then back up the east coast to New York, the Erie Canal, the Trent-Severn waterway in Canada and finally home through the Georgian Bay and Lake Michigan. It was our last-ditch effort to spend more time with our children before they entered high school, and it was well worth it. We kept a log of our adventures and you can find it here.
